Family Found Dead in House Near City College This Morning in Apparent Murder-Suicide

Update (12:25 p.m): SF Weekly Staff Writer Albert Samaha talked to one neighbor who would not give her name, but said she saw an older woman leave the house, crying this morning, and another male run out of the house, screaming "They killed my brother." Another neighbor, Annette Labadores, told Samaha that she was eating breakfast with her son when she heard two gunshots.
(Update, 11:55 a.m.): Police have blocked off the area from Ocean to Geneva Avenues while they investigate a violent scene where at least two people were found shot to death.
(Original story, 9 a.m.): Police are saying that a family was found dead inside a house this morning near City College. According a police source, a 12-year-old girl with her grandmother found the girl's parents, her brother, and her brother's wife shot to death inside the house.
Two of the bodies were found in the garage, and police say they were victims of a homicide. Police are reporting a total of five people dead in what could be a murder-suicide, according to the Chron.
Details are scarce, but officers at the scene are telling reporters that the deaths were reported at 7:47 a.m. on the 16 Howth Street.
Police have closed the street to all traffic, and investigators are examining the inside of an orange, two-story home on Howth, the Chron reports.
