Rodney Pool Charged with Murdering Rebekah Wilson; Homicide No. 5
| Rodney Pool |
According to police, officers were called to the hotel, located at 20 Sixth St., just before 7 p.m. on Feb. 2. When they arrived, they found Wilson dead in the hotels.
Six days later -- on Feb. 8 -- medical authorities ruled her death a homicide.
That same day, police identified and arrested Pool, a San Francisco resident, and charged him with murdering Wilson. This marks San Francisco's fifth homicide this year.
Police had no more details to give at this time, and a woman who answered the phone at the Winsor Hotel said she knew nothing about a homicide there.
The case is still being investigated. Anyone with information about this incident should call Inspectors William Braconi, Dan Cunningham, or Mike Morley of the Homicide Detail at 553-1145, call the anonymous tip line at 575-4444, or text a tip to TIP411.
