Fish and Game President Blasted for Shooting Mountain Lion
| Hates bureaucracy |
For starters.
Since it's illegal to shoot and kill mountain lions in California, Dan Richards, president of the California Fish and Game Comission, traveled two states over to gun-happier Idaho, where he could safely shoot a mountain lion without being shamed.
As you can imagine, the public revelation about Richards' fetish for hunting has outraged animal-lovers in the Golden State, many of whom are calling on the governor to remove Richards from his post. Others have started an online petition, saying that someone who will protect wildlife, rather than the interest of hunters, should be in his position.
"I'm glad it's legal in Idaho," Richards was quoted as saying.
Then move to Idaho already!
