Cyclist Seriously Hurt in Hit-and-Run Accident

According to police, the cyclist was hit shortly after midnight on Sunday as the victim was pedaling on Geneva and Ocean avenues. The driver left the scene after colliding with the bicyclist.
"The bicyclist fell on the street and then the car hit the cyclist and drove off," Officer Albie Esparza told SF Weekly.
Firefighters nearby witnessed the accident, and assisted the victim who was taken to San Francisco General Hospital with serious injuries, Esparza told us.
