Frederick Dozier, Mission District Rape Suspect, Worked for S.F. Schools

Gentle Blythe, spokeswoman with the schools, told reporters last night that Dozier indeed worked as a student nutrition services employee where he was employed part-time and "as-needed" for $16 per hour. He has since been fired.
Blythe added that Dozier had in fact passed a criminal background check before he was offered the job.
"The criminal assaults with which he is charged have no connection to his duties or responsibilities ... and were not directed toward children," she said.
Still, not comforting for parents.
Dozier, 32, was arrested on Friday on suspicion of robbing and raping three women over the last six months. He is due to appear in court tomorrow. Police said they received a tip that led them to the Bernal Dwellings Housing Projects, where he was taken into custody before 5 p.m. on Friday. Police says DNA evidence links him to all three rapes, which occurred in the 24th Street corridor.
But Dozier wasn't just involved in the schools. For the last two years, he has also worked at Green Streets, a company that manages recycling and composting and teaches residents how to reduce waste, according to media outlets. It operates at various housing projects, including Bernal Dwellings, where Dozier was arrested. Dozier reportedly spoke at a Green Streets program event in May which was attended by then-Supervisor Ross Mirkarimi. He is pictured on the organization's website standing at a podium at the offices of the San Francisco Planning and Urban Research Association, where the event was held.
He was also an active Facebook user. Two days before the brutal Dec. 8 rape on Fair Oaks and 24th Street, Dozier left a cryptic message on his Facebook page:
