Downtown Traffic Will Suck Tonight, Thanks to Critical Mass

Categories: bikes
For the most part, San Franciscans look favorably on Critical Mass, the monthly brigade of well-intentioned cyclists pedaling through the streets together. Well, except for this guy below.

This man has strong feelings about cycling in general

Anyway. Even non-cyclists can find ways to appreciate the Earth-friendly event, until of course it affects their commute home -- on a Friday. Yep, it's that time again, the last Friday of the months, when cyclists will meet at Justin Herman Plaza at 6 p.m.and pedal their way through downtown, clogging the roads and snarling traffic.

Here's what police have to say about it:

"Because of the large number of bicyclists, traffic, particularly in the downtown area, will be impacted, and motorists are alerted to possible driving delays."

In other news, many flights landed successfully today at SFO.
