Burglary Suspect Still Clinging to Telegraph Hill Brush 24 Hours Later

We called San Francisco police to find out how much longer officers will be stationed outside the cliff, which is a treacherous 250-foot drop. SFPD said they had no plan at this time -- or at least not one they were willing to share with the media.
Fair enough.
Earlier today, police said they picked up prints from the crime scene, which occurred in a residence on Kearny and Lombard streets. They are processing the prints to see if they can get an identification on the stranded suspect. If that happens, they will issue a warrant for his arrest and walk away from this standoff.
Meanwhile, police have made contact with the man several times, only to be told to go away.
But it does not appear that the cops are going anywhere anytime soon.
We'll keep you posted as this bizarre tale unfolds.
