Grow a pair, San Francisco
San Francisco can pride itself on plenty of things -- the mild weather being one of them. We don't suffer from extreme conditions; no mind-melting heat waves, no hurricanes, and the only snow residents will see here is those fake flakes at City Hall over Christmas.

But when temperatures call for heavier jackets, as they do today, the media turn a little morning frost into a pressing news story. Flipping through the news channels, newspapers, and even on Facebook, you would think we were to prepare for an outing in Minnesota

But alas, the Bay Area barometer dipped no lower than 34 degrees this morning. So yeah, it's cold -- but it's not that cold.
What should you do to weather this unusually extreme weather? Our advice: Dress in layers  and grow a pair.
