Police say that a San Francisco man was robbed as he urinated in an alley at about 1:55 a.m. on Friday. According to police, the man had met friends at a nearby bar, and as they were deciding where to go next, the man went to take a leak near Fresno Street and Romolo Place. Just as he was relieving himself, the three suspects walked up to him, knocked him in the head, and stole his tablet computer, said Sgt. Michael Andraychak.
The three suspects ran off before the man had a chance to zip up his pants.
The victim flagged down an officer and they drove around the neighborhood looking for the suspects. Shortly after the robbery, the victim spotted the trio walking along Broadway and Kearny Street and identified them as the three who had robbed him, police said.
Officers arrested Barry Gwen, 19, of Oakland, on suspicion of robbery; 19-year-old Arlene George from San Pablo, who had the tablet computer on her, on suspicion of possession of stolen property. The third suspect, 18-year-old Rashawn Jones of San Francisco was arrested for a marijuana violation, according to police.
