Charlie Bell, Golden State Warriors Player, Allegedly Shows Up to DUI Hearing Drunk
| Slammed Drunk? |
Bell was taken to jail Thursday in his hometown of Flint, Mich., after a scheduled alcohol screening showed that Bell's blood alcohol content level was .09, slightly higher than the legal limit of .08.
Bell was locked up and held on a bond violation until he sobered up. He is expected to appear in court again today.
Bell was arrested in Flint Township on Oct. 21 for drunken driving, driving with a suspended license, and failure to stop at a stop sign.
Sad, but true, Bell isn't the only person to have allegedly hit the bottle too hard before his DUI hearing. Not too far from Michigan, Chicago resident Sandra Uher was jailed earlier this summer after failing to sober up before appearing in court for her sixth DUI charge.Follow us on Twitter at @TheSnitchSF and @SFWeekly
