Armed Security Guard Shoots Himself in the Leg
| Guns don't shoot people. People shoot people. Oh, wait. |
No, really.
Here's what happened: According to police, the 40-year-old security guard finished his shift and had just got into his car at about 11:15 p.m. when his gun fired. Apparently, when he was fastening his seatbelt (aren't seatbelts supposed to protect you?), it triggered the gun in his holster to discharge, firing a bullet into his right leg.
Ouch!
The guard was taken to San Francisco General Hospital, where he is recovering from a gunshot wound, and possibly a bout of humiliation.
