Original story (3:12 p.m.): The Daily Californian is reporting that a man has been shot at the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business.
We contacted UC Berkeley police, and left a message with the press information officer who is out on the scene. The university's media relations office confirmed that the shooting happened and promised to call us back.
Media outlets are reporting that a man who was holding a gun was shot by a police officer. The man was transported to the hospital.
