Angry Dude in Elmo Shirt Goes Ballistic on KRON 4 Reporter (A Must See Video)

Categories: Humor, Media
KRON reporter Stanley Roberts has captured some incredibly entertaining moments for his segment People Behaving Badly, in which he videos people breaking the law or just generally acting like complete assholes.

However, this one will be hard to beat.

Roberts recently filmed a mouthy man in an Elmo shirt (it kinda suits him) as he was getting ticketed by a police officer. The man loses his composure when he realizes Roberts is filming him for his segment. He goes off on him, calling Roberts a "fat ass" and telling him his fat, lazy ass can only afford food.

"How about a segment on people overeating?" the man snaps.

Seriously, watch this video -- it will make your weekend:

Yeah, I kind of see Elmo dude's point. "Ballistic" though? Really guys?  Slow news day, huh...

This whole thing is silly.  Why is there a camera man shooting a video of a person getting a ticket?  I would be a little angry if I screwed up, got a ticket of that price, and was being video taped that close.  The camera guy was taunting Mr. Elmo, capitalizing on his emotions.  Now we see this.  I agree with Mr.Elmo.  The camera guy should be doing something a little more relevant like "why" people behave badly.  We all have our moments....

He does look a bit like 'Little Richard' Penniman. Not that it's important.

Wouldn't Stanley be performing a service if he helped draw attention to whatever the ticket is for? And do you no longer need to sign a release for footage to be used anymore? I'm with Elmo on this one. Stanley always comes across holier than thou in anything he reports on.

Think the title is a bit exaggerated.

Misleading titles and cheap sensationalism are the rule here especially with Erin's posts. I suppose her job is primarily to drive traffic rather than inform, although I would argue the approach is short-sighted. She's better than tedious one-note Chris Roberts who can't write about anything except pot law. I mostly keep reading for the occasional Joe E. post.

I found this video in another place, so I think that's why its posted.
