Albert Bartal Identified as Firefighter Run Over in Thanksgiving Attempted Homicide

A relief fund has been set up for Albert Bartal, the 29-year-old firefighter who remains in critical condition after being run over by a driver on Thanksgiving Day.

The Albert Bartal relief fund was established in the care of the San Francisco Police Credit Union. People can make a donation at SFPCU, 2550 Irving St., San Francisco, CA, 94122 (Account # 1379608).

Bartal was at the Shell gas station on Ninth Avenue and Geary Boulevard at about 2:45 a.m. on Thursday when the suspect struck him and drove away. Police released surveillance of the suspect, who had gotten into a fight with Bartal at a nearby Jack in the Box minutes before running his car over him.  The suspect is described as a mixed-race or Latino male, 18 to 24 years old, with short black hair and a manicured beard.

The suspect looks like a total D-bag ...... he probably got into the fight because he was being obnoxious and Bartal told him to pipe down.  I hope the cops beat the living crap out of him when they catch him.
