Seven injured
A vehicle crashed into a shuttle bus carrying 14 elderly passengers Thursday night near Parkmerced, injuring seven and leaving one in critical condition.

Around 9:16 p.m., the shuttle stalled on Junipero Serra Boulevard near Brotherhood Way and was rear-ended by another vehicle carrying five passengers, according to San Francisco police.

Three passengers were hospitalized, including a 77-year-old man with life-threatening injuries as well as a 76-year-old female and an 89-year-old male, both with non-life-threatening injuries.

However, fire department spokeswoman Mindy Talmadge said a total of seven passengers were taken to hospitals in San Francisco and San Mateo county, although she couldn't say what shuttle company was involved.

The crash remains under investigation and no fault has been determined yet, police said.

Wait... So, what happened to the driver? Was s/he cited? I bet Erin Sherbert, who just last month was oh so OUTRAGED that a cyclist who caused a crash wasn't cited, will share the same OUTRAGE that a motorist who caused the crash wasn't cited
