Norman Bates: Taking the "norm" out of normal
There's so many good reasons why a grown man should not still be living with his mother. Let's just say it doesn't bode well for his relationship with women.

Here's a great example:

A 23-year-old mama's boy was arrested over the weekend on suspicion of assaulting his mother at their Upper Market home. Police say they have no idea why the man put a knife to his mother's throat and threatened to hurt her.

"I don't know how it began, but I imagine it was the tension of living together," Captain Denis O'Leary said.

The son released his mother, but then slipped a belt over her head and attempted to strangle her. When she threatened to call the cops, he started taunting her, saying he would entice police to shoot him dead, O'Leary said.

Afterward, he ran from the house, which is located on the 300 block of Corbett Avenue, and came 10 hours later only to find the police waiting to haul him off to jail. He was charged with assault with a deadly weapon and booked into San Francisco County Jail.

Needless to say, his mother probably won't be bailing him out anytime soon.
