Man Shot to Death in the Mission; Homicide No. 45

According to police, the victim, who has not yet been identified, was on Harrison and 23rd streets at about 1:40 a.m. Friday when the fight started. The shooter fired four or five shots, hitting the victim in the back. The suspects drove off in a green Outback Subaru headed north on Harrison Street.
When police arrived, the victim was dead.
Police had very little information about the suspects, other than they were three Hispanic males, one was described as 16 to 18 years old.
The shooting is San Francisco's 45th homicide this year. On Oct. 3, Richard Fowler Jr., 28, was shot in the head as he played video games inside his parent's Bernal Heights home. Police arrested 34-year-old Anthony Wright on suspicion of killing Fowler, whom he knew.
