The Angels' dustup started last week after we published a story about Ernesto Manuel Gonzalez, a member of a rival motorcycle club who was arrested on suspicion of shooting to death Jeffrey Pettigrew, aka Jethro, the president of Hells Angels San Jose chapter.
The comment section under this story took on a life of its own as Hells Angels and their detractors fired back and forth with impressive antipathy. Each comment roars like a throaty Hog. One thing we learned for sure: We would stay far away from a pissed-off Hells Angel.
