Apple Will You Help Find Your Friends ... And Cheating Partner

Categories: Tech
Just like iTunes put record stores out of business, the new iPhone app, Find My Friends, will likely mean less work for private investigators. According to Forbes, a man might have busted his cheating spouse using the app a week after Apple released it. Find My Friends is supposed to be a cutting-edge way of quickly locating your friends and family via GPS.

The man, who identified himself as "ThomasMetz" on MacRumors, tells his cunning anecdote about how he surreptitiously used his wife's iPhone 4 to uncover her lies.

According to ThomasMetz:
I got my wife a new 4s and loaded up find my friends without her knowing. She told me she was at her friends house in the east village. I've had suspicions about her meeting this guy who live [sic] uptown. Lo and behold, Find my Friends has her right there.

Here is a screenshot of what he found -- as proof:

Who knows if this is just a hoax, but knowing how this new app works means that we may start seeing fewer cheating spouses, or perhaps more American divorces.

Anyone who lives in the VILLAGE area of New York will tell you that the MEAT PACKING District she claims to be in, is located on the WEST side of Manhattan, NOT in the EAST VILLAGE area where she (the WIFE) claims her "friend" lives. Just my 2 Cents :)

I'm waiting for the kiss my ass app...
