Another Earthquake Rocks the East Bay

A 3.6 quake rattle the East Bay at about 5:36 a.m., causing buildings to sway and bringing public transit to a screeching halt. The earthquake was two miles east of Berkeley along the Hayward fault, the same site where two other quakes rattled the East Bay last week.
There were no immediate reports of damage, just loss of sleep.
That quake came after another temblor rocked the San Ramon Valley on Wednesday afternoon. According to the USGS, a 3.0 shook the East Bay at about 3:44 p.m, with the epicenter about three miles northeast of Blackhawk and 19 miles northeast of Oakland.
Last Wednesday, two nearly identical earthquakes jolted the East Bay in the same spot along the Hayward fault.
