es, trains are running a bit behind, but this time you can't say it has to do with freedom of speech, or lack thereof.

BART is reporting up to eight-minute delays for some East Bay-bound commuters due to a car crash on Interstate 580 this afternoon.

It all started at about 2:37 p.m. when a car and a big rig traveling eastbound collided, interfering with BART's right-of-way, according to BART officials.

BART had to run single-track trains from Castro Valley to the Dublin/Pleasanton station, causing delays between three and eight minutes. All other trains are currently running on time.

Check back later for more information.
