Guess we'll have to go buy a PC then
The temporary shutdown of several Apple stores has people wondering whether there's a connection to the highly anticipated iPhone event to be held at Apple headquarters in Cupertino next Tuesday.

Considering that a number of stores have closed and reopened prior to the impending iPhone announcement, we aren't sure whether the timing is merely coincidental. Still, after the lost iPhone 5 debacle, you can't exactly blame people for thinking there's more to the story, right?

According to Apple's website, stores are closed in the Marina on Chestnut Street, in Walnut Creek, and in Seattle's University Village.

All three locations were closed on Monday, Sept. 26, with some media citing standard renovations as the cause, such as new security doors. Walnut Creek's location opens on Oct. 3 and Seattle's won't be open until Oct. 6. The Chestnut Street store will be opened again on Oct. 4, the day of the iPhone conference.

Apple enthusiasts largely say they believe the iPhone announcement will relate to the launch of the iPhone 5 or possibly an iPhone 4S.

An Apple spokesman told SF Weekly that the company is not making any comments about the stores.

You have to hand it to Apple for always keeping us wondering.

After those rumors, Apple are close because of the people who complained about what happened with the releasing of iPhone 5. Wish that all thing will be back to normal.

Apple may have a 9/30 fiscal year like many technology companies.  The store closings could be related to an inventory audit although more than a day or two seems unusual.
