Toddler in critical condition
Police say a 3-year-old boy is in critical condition this morning after being run over by a car as the driver backed out of his residence Sunday afternoon.

According to police reports, a neighbor yelled at the driver to stop his car because the child was stuck underneath the vehicle.

Police had very few details to share, but Officer Albie Esparza told us that "somehow, the toddler child got underneath the car."

The toddler was taken to San Francisco General Hospital with a life-threatening head injury.

We'll tell you more when we know more.
