Minh Troung Identified as Man Who Died in Hunters Point Boat Crash

Minh Troung got trapped under the boat
​Medical authorities have released the name of the man who tragically died yesterday after his 19-foot Boston Whaler capsized.

30-year-old San Francisco resident Minh Troung was fishing with his dad when their boat collided with a dinghy near Hunters Point, just north of Candlestick Park.

It's not yet known what caused the collision, which happened at about 12:30 p.m. yesterday. The father was found in good condition, but Troung got trapped underneath the dinghy.

He died at San Francisco General Hospital.
