Anonymous Circulates NSFW Photos Of BART Spokesman Linton Johnson

Oh big deal, it's 2011... almost everyone has nude photos out there. So what? He's a person outside of his job and what he does in his own time is his own business. I think a lot of folks really need to grow up.

Johnson is BART's propaganda minister.  He lies and misleads the public on behalf of that rogue agency that does what it wants without any degree of accountability.  BART needs oversight. 

So Anonymous is protesting BART's parochial attitudes about free speech by stoking parochial attitudes about nudity.  Sure, makes perfect sense...

Johnson cannot have it both ways (no pun intended).  Ethically he is as corrupt as they come.

Anonymous and Lulzsec are dangerous organizations full of disparate political goals from anti-western propaganda to anarchy to performing tasks for terrorists against American Military and Law Enforcement websites. These people need to be hunted down, rooted out, and imprisoned. This guy was entitled to privacy without a group of Beavis and Butthead wannabees  harrassing him for their own gain. This could be anyone who pisses off the high and mighty membership du jour. Take it seriously, demand action.

Linton Johnson has sounded so wrong for so long and I couldn't quite figure out what the problem was until seeing these photos, which is when I realized he was a demented queen. It has nothing to do with homosexuality or being sex-positive or what have you. It does have everything to do with professionalism. As loathsome as Sam Singer, the PR gangster might be, I doubt it we'll ever be seeing him in ridiculous poses like those featuring Mr. Linton.

Really? This is how you protest for free speech?  Off-base and childish does not even begin to describe what this is about.  Hey, I want free speech, so let's go searching through other people's stuff and embarass them in order to get what we say we want.  Come on people, act like serious advocates in order to be taken seriously. 

Who cares what someone does in their private life? It sounds like Mr. Johnson and his husband have a fun and interesting life outside of work, which is as it should be.

Frankly, I'm surprised that a group that supposedly supports "free speech" would be pushing for a company to control the non-work-related activities of its employees.

Would they also support, for example, Apple randomly drug testing its employees and firing those who had smoked marijuana?

Would they support Exxon investigating employees who cheat on their spouses and then firing them?

Sadly, from what they are implying by posting these pictures, it seems like they would. It seems Anonymous is actually a bunch of conservatives masquerading as "anarchists".

They sure "showed" him! As I was arrested on Monday, for exercising my First Amendment rights, I take some guilty pleasure in this revelation. Is that wrong?

Add homophobic, prudish, Tea Partyers and any other overtly right-wing titles  want to toward these little morons at this point.  

"Anonymous" is an appropriate name.  Because none of them (if there is even more than one) have the nuts to reveal themselves and subject themselves to the same attacks they dump on people.  Change your names to "Cockroaches."  You only scurry around when the lights are off.
