Man Shot and Killed in Hayes Valley; Homicide No. 30

Man shot to death
A man was killed late Monday night in Hayes Valley, according to police. The victim was shot in the head sometime around 11:40 p.m. on the 500 block of Webster Street.

Medical authorities have not yet identified the victim, who was described as a black man in his 20s.
No arrests have been made, according to police. The shooting makes it San Francisco's 30th homicide for the year.
