Gavin Newsom's House Hits the Market
| Where's Gavin now? |
To be clear, Newsom does live in Ross and he technically is still a resident of our fair city -- but not for long, it seems. What we can tell you is that his Ashbury Heights home is on the market -- officially, according to Socketsite.com, a real estate blog.
According to the blog, Newsom's 3,051-square-foot home on Masonic Avenue is listed for $2,750,000.
The blog notes that some of its astute readers had called this one long ago:
"I bet if he loses the governor's primary or the actual race, within six months he will be back in his natural habitat, well north of California Street, or perhaps in Marin. This neighborhood is purely a political decision."
We called Team Newsom to find out whether he still plans on returning to San Francisco after his summer in Ross. No word back yet.
But we can only guess how this will go over with the local Democratic Party.
