Michelle Le has been missing since Friday
Over the last five days, police have interviewed some 20 people -- even arresting one briefly. They've issued search warrants and tracked down a few "persons of interest," only to remain stumped as to what happened to Michelle Le, the 26-year-old nursing student who has been missing since Friday.

Yesterday, police said they questioned a woman who was once friends with Le and obtained a search warrant, seizing a computer and her cellphone, according to media outlets. Her name has not been released.

"We ultimately released her and she remains, as do a couple of others, as a person of interest,"  Roger Keener of the Hayward Police Department told reporters.
Le was last seen on Friday at about 7 p.m. when the nursing student took a break from her mentoring class at Kaiser Hospital. Surveillance footage shows Le's white Honda leaving the parking garage at that time.

She was supposed to drive to Reno to meet friends for the weekend, but never showed up. Police later found Le's car parked on a residential street less than a half-mile from the hospital. Her locked car was undisturbed with her laptop inside.

Media outlets have noted the similarity between Le's disappearance and one in Solano County last year in which the body of 24-year-old Phuong Le was found 12 days after she disappeared in front a bookstore in Fairfield. Police admitted there are striking similarities: Both drove white Hondas, both were nursing students, shared the same last name, and have similar physical characteristics.

Police are talking to detectives in Fairfield, a half-hour drive from Hayward. They say there is a slim chance the  cases are related. "You could look at it and go 'Wow,'" Sergeant Randy Boggs of Fairfield police told ABC News. He then added that "it looks like a series of coincidences and nothing more."
