William Meyers, Peninsula Priest with 'Sexual Addiction,' Trails Boy into Dressing Room

• Pray for all our Priest and all those in a religious vocation so that they my be faithful and true disciples of Christ. Pray for all victims that suffer abuse from the ones they trust so that they maybe healed.  Be vigilant for that evil is all around and disquised in many forms.  Be faithful, but most importantly be Christ-like.

• All parents should check with their children to determine if they were isolated and harmed by Father William Myers.  The Diocesan policy is that a priest is not to be alone with a child. Father Myers’ conduct in the Ross store speaks for itself.  Long standing problems and treatment for sexual identity disorder, for a priest, is a major red flag.  Any parent who unearths suspicious behavior by Father Myers should report such to the police, not the Diocese.

• You spelled his name wrong. It's Myers.

• Why do these incidents always come as a "bombshell?"  It's happening over and over and over, all around the world.  Meyers should not be around children;  did the diocese Vet him or get his through Virtus training?

• Jesuit Fr. Jerold Lindner of affluent Los Gatos appears to have been active with Sexaholics Anonymous maybe until now and also with the Boy Scouts for possibly as long as 5 decades – a potentially toxic combination.  The Jesuit Order paid $2 million to the alleged victims of Lindner. Lindner was protected by Fr. Thomas Smolich now the highest-up USA Jesuit. Lindner has never gone to jail but an alleged victim of Lindner may go to jail soon for allegedly striking Lindner.

• " Meyers' behavior at the Ross store was predatory" SO TRUE!!

• We encourage anyone with information about Fr. Meyers - if they have been abused or seen or suspected abuse - to call law enforcement immediately, and not the church.  Meyers' behavior at the Ross store was predatory, and because of his earlier record of "treatment", this may not be the first time he has cornered a child. The Diocese of Stockton and the Archdiocese of San Francisco should turn over ALL information they have on Meyers to civil authorities.
