Mark McGovern, Gaelic Football Player, in Coma After Injury During Match in S.F.

• Thinking and praying for Mark for a full recovery. What a shame at 22 years of age he should sustain such injuries. I pray he will recover and pray for his parents as well. God bless.

• Was in San Francisco 10 years ago.I went to the Keyser pub with a friend and there was a few players that had just finished playing a gaelic football game.We were shocked at what we heard from some of these so called players,some were bragging about how they took out a good player and seemed to think that because they had little skill it was ok to assault any player with talent.My friend was a good player in Ireland and was thinking of playing in San Fran but hearing these apes in the pub made up his mind not to play

• @haggie Are you for real? These footballers are all of Irish descent and are well aware of the rules of Gaelic Football.. Im pretty sure an 'off the ball' hit in american football is illegal too! Praying for Mark, his family and friends.

• Nice comments Haggie while the young man's life is on the line. The sport is called Gaelic football and is way way older than the American version of football where only two  players ever actually kick the ball. When baseball is played outside America is it not still called baseball?
