Human Body Parts Found in Garbage Bag

Not what you expect to find in your garbage

​Sunnyvale police are bewildered by a Sunday morning grisly discovery: a bag of body parts left on a sidewalk in a quiet neighborhood.

Someone called police at about 10:10 a.m. on Sunday to report they had found a garbage bag that looked as if a body was lying in it. The bag had been placed between two bushes near a home filled on Ticonderoga Drive, according to NBC.
When police arrived, they saw blood on the bag. When they looked inside, they reportedly found a "body part."

Santa Clara Crime Lab technicians and the coroner arrived at the scene to collect the evidence. They have not yet determined the cause of death or the gender of the victim.
