Arnold Schwarzenegger's Mistress, Mildred Baena, Speaks About Love Child

Like father, like son ...

​No longer do we have to guess about the details of how and why former Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger's mistress, Mildred Baena, came clean about the love child they had together. Baena decided to put an end to the rumors that have consumed media outlets since the affair was revealed last month.

In an exclusive interview, Baena tells Hello! Magazine that she realized that Schwarzenegger was her son Joseph's father only once he clearly started to look like the former Hollywood playboy, right down to the gapped teeth. But it wasn't until last year when she decided it was time to tell him who his real father was.

"It was as Joseph grew and I started to see the resemblance that I wondered -- but it became more apparent as time went on," Baena said.

Joseph, now 13, was delighted to by the news: "Cool!" he exclaimed when he found out.

But what wasn't so cool was the fact that Baena was the live-in housekeeper, working for Schwarzenegger and his wife, Maria Shriver, at the time of the affair.

Shriver is no dummy; she reportedly started to grow suspicious over the last few years as people "whispered" about the resemblance, Baena told the magazine. "Finally, she asked point-blank."

"She was so strong. She cried with me and told me to get off my knees. We held each other and I told her it wasn't Arnie's fault, that it takes two," Baena says.
