SFGate.com Readers Are Crazy Old Men
| Avid Sfgate.com reader |
According to a new report published by Pew Research Center's Project for Excellence in Journalism, SFGate.com attracts more male than female readers, and only 22 percent of its readers are aged 18 to 34.
And that's worse than Fox News!
The study analyzed the nation's top 25 Web sites, including the Huffington Post, CNN, Los Angeles Times, and the Wall Street Journal. While Examiner.com, HuffPo, and MSNBC.com attracted far more women to their sites, 59 percent of SFGate's readers were men.
Which might explain these comments from Chronicle readers:
"I've had many years experience working with women who have consistently had a hidden agenda and undermine team work. I'd rather work with men."
"It's really not nice to call the first lady a cow. She looks more like some kind of spider demon in that picture. Especially when you consider that she has circus-freakishly long arms and legs, and a butt that looks like the abdomen of a black widow spider."
"Ah yes, the she-devil cometh."
