Surely, this would lower the housing price
A San Francisco woman was enjoying her newly purchased home in Noe Valley when she came across the most unexpected housewarming gift: a hand grenade.

On Monday at about 3 p.m., the woman was cleaning out a bedroom cabinet inside her home on the unit block of Fountain Street when she found the explosive.

Naturally, she called police, who arrived with the bomb squad.

Officer Albie Esparza told SF Weekly that the grenade was immediately disposed of and nobody was injured.

It's not clear how the grenade got there.
