'Pervert' Accused of Filming Up Women's Skirts at Marin Farmers' Market
| What's with all the holes? |
New outlets are reporting that 26-year-old Nicholas Springer of San Rafael tucked a video camera into his Croc sandal and headed to the downtown market on Wednesday afternoon. The manager of the market saw him walk around and place his foot underneath various women's dresses, between their legs.
He did this to 35 women -- maybe even more, according to news outlets.
The manager called police who found a small recording device the size of a credit card in Springer's sandal. Police reviewed footage and saw he had recorded women at the market, grocery store, and a nearby coffee shop, KTVU reports.
Fairfax Police Chief Chris Morin went as far as to say Springer was a pervert and that he "didn't want the man around town."
Springer has been charged with a misdemeanor; however, this could be upgraded to a felony, given the high number of victims.
