Memorial Day weekend is here, as is the Mission's Carnaval
, and so are the sobriety checkpoints to make sure you don't drive after knocking back one too many Coronas.
This weekend of enhanced enforcement in the city starts Friday with a sobriety checkpoint on the Embarcadero at Washington. It begins at 8:30 p.m. and will continue into the wee hours of Saturday morning.
