Back to court ... again
Attorney Larry Klayman is taking Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg to court, accusing the "self-hating Jew" of not quickly removing the Facebook page "Third Palestinian Intifada," which promoted killing Jews.

Klayman, who is also the founder of Freedom Watch, is asking for more than $1 billion in damages, accusing the social-networking giant of assault and negligence.

The Facebook page had garnered some 350,000 "likes" with what Klayman calls  "nefarious and evil" content and messages calling for violence against Jews.

TechCrunch first reported the lawsuit, which was filed in Washington, D.C., last week after Facebook decided to remove the page. Klayman accuses the company of keeping the page up longer than it should have as a way to further its revenue and increase its net worth.

Facebook removed the page on March 29 after users pointed out how it, indeed, called for violence, which is against company policy. On the page, Palestinians were urged to hit the streets on May 15, 2011, and commence an uprising in the vein of the first two popular intifadas, according to TechCrunch.

"Judgment Day will be brought upon us only once the Muslims have killed all of the Jews," a statement on the page read.

Some have accused Zuckerberg of not being in solidarity with his Jewish community. Although the young businessman was raised Jewish, he has since declared he is an atheist. He claimed the page started out as a peaceful protest, but the publicity brought it more users, which evolved into a call for violence.

Still, Facebook told reporters that the lawsuit has no merit.
