Charlie Sheen Booed and Heckled Off Stage
The very thing that made Charlie Sheen an object of Internet awe is exactly what led him to crash and burn during his live show over the weekend: incoherent ramblings. ![]()
Ramblin' man blows it on stage
The former sit-com actor was reportedly booed and heckled off stage in Detroit over the weekend where he kicked off his Violent Torpedo of Truth tour.
Tickets for the sold-out show had been scooped up within 20 minutes after going on sale last month. So then what went wrong?
We thought, perhaps, people had higher expectations or were they hoping for a little more substance from Sheen? But then again, that can't be, considering -- oddly enough -- how predictably unpredictable Sheen has become with his nonsensical rants and erratic behavior.
The former Two and a Half Men star didn't just brush off the booing -- he flat-out said he doesn't care; he blamed the disastrous showing on his audience, saying it was just an unruly crowd.
Sheen calling his audience unruly? That's ironic.
But nothing will stop him. Sheen is carrying on with his 20-day tour across the country, including a stop in San Francisco April 30.
Who knows, maybe Sheen will fare better in San Francisco, a city that welcomes all that is freakish.
