Teen jumps for fun
Yesterday, SF Weekly told you about the Windsor High School student who jumped nearly 250 feet from the Golden Gate Bridge -- and survived. He apparently did it for shits and giggles.

Although nobody is laughing.

The surfer who helped the 17-year-old told reporters today that the kid told him he was okay and had jumped for kicks.

"I was angry and I went off on him. I said, 'God gave you life and you're playing with it like it's nothing.' He didn't say anything," Frederic Lecouturier, 55, of San Rafael said.

The teen, who has been identified through friends on Facebook as Luhe "Otter" Vilagomez, a junior at Windsor High School, was on a field trip with a teacher and 45 other students to the de Young Museum.

After he hit the water, he swam to Lecouturier, who helped him onto his surfboard and paddle him to the shore where medical responders were waiting.
