Man killed
Medical authorities identified the man who was shot and killed early Sunday morning as Joshua McClain, a 23-year-old Richmond resident.

At about 2 a.m., McClain was shot multiple times in the Jessie Street alley near several downtown nightclubs.

Another man was shot and taken to San Francisco General Hospital with injuries. The shooter, who is described as a black man in his 20s, fled the scene.

Police are still investigating the murder, which is San Francisco's 18th homicide. Earlier this month Parrish Broughton, 20, died after he was found shot inside a car in Diamond Heights.
