Brian Wilson Probably Not Playing Opening Day
| No relief just yet |
Media outlets are reporting that the eccentric relief pitcher will have to throw a bullpen session in Arizona on Tuesday before a final decision is made as to whether he can join the World Series champions for opening day.
Giants Coach Bruce Bochy told reporters on Monday that Wilson's chances of playing when the regular season begins are "less than 50-50."
On March 17, Wilson strained a muscle on his left side, forcing him to sit out during part of spring training.
The opening game of the season is Friday against the LA Dodgers.
