BART Delays ... Again

Late for dinner

Original Story 2:39 p.m.:BART trains are running late, and they are expected to be even later by the time you leave work.

The transit agency is reporting 10-to-15-minute delays on all trains between San Francisco and Oakland. Trains have been running at reduced speeds between the Civic Center in San Francisco and West Oakland, thanks to a power outage.

On Sunday, train service stopped in parts of the East Bay after BART cars derailed outside the Concord station around 9 a.m. The agency spent the entire day trying to remove the train cars and fix the problem in time for the Monday morning commute.

And they did. But then mechanical issues at the Embarcadero station stalled trains early Monday morning.
