Never good self defense...
At some point kids are supposed to learn not to pull on other people's hair, and for good reason -- because the person's hair you are tugging on might be armed and dangerous.

Such is the case with one woman who last week was robbed while she was in the Excelsior --  but not at gunpoint. That came later.

At about 10:30 p.m., the woman was at the playground at Crocker Amazon Park when she pulled out some money. The robber snatched the cash from her hand and took off running. The woman stopped the man when she grabbed a tuft of his hair.

The man outdid her self defense when he pulled out a gun and told her he would kill her.

The woman let her grip of the man's hair go, and he ran off with the cash, the gun, and tousled hair.
