In custody.
Donald Rollins didn't stay on the lam for long. The former funeral home operator who is accused of bilking living clients out of money for future services turned himself in Wednesday afternoon, says Sheriff's Department spokeswoman Eileen Hirst.

"Mr. Rollins is with us," she said.

Rollins was arrested at 12:40 this afternoon, almost 24 hours after District Attorney George Gascón held a press conference announcing that Rollins was at large. Derek Washington, the other funeral director at Funerals By Washington accused of the same crimes, had already turned himself in. Washington pleaded not guilty today to all seven felony counts of grand theft, and 16 felony counts of violating state laws regarding "pre-need" funeral arrangements.

His alleged partner-in-crime wasn't far behind him. Rollins was booked into custody at 3:21 p.m. District Attorney's Office spokeswoman Erica Derryck says that Rollins will be arraigned Thursday.

Well, running from the law, or surrendering to it -- either way, you could say Rollins has been digging his own grave.
