Police Looking for Impostor Cops Who Tried to Rob Man

At about 8:50 a.m. on Thursday, the victim said he had just dropped off his daughter at school and drove home when two men approached him as he got out of his car in his driveway on the 800 block of Brunswick Street in the Outer Mission.
According to police reports, the men said they were police officers and started yelling at the victim.
The two "cops" had gold badges resembling those of BART police -- but they were not wearing uniforms; they were in hoodies and baseball caps.
The victim said the two men kept yelling at him, demanding him to "give up the drugs."
Frustrated with their lack of power, they gave up and started to look through the man's trunk. They found no drugs, so they ran off before the real cops could get there.
