A gunman knocked over the bar at the East Providence Yacht Club yesterday. That gunman, incidentally, was described as "a large man wearing a red suit, red hat, white beard and carrying a sack." Ho, ho, ho, indeed.
The race organizers threatening to yank the event from San Francisco should take heed. In San Francisco, Santa won't rob you. But he may tell you an off-color joke.
