Video: In Wake of San Bruno Inferno, PG&E's Handling of Castro Gas Leak Angers Merchants

This week's Matt Smith column describes how PG&E's mishandling of a relatively minor gas leak left Castro merchants on edge weeks later.

The leak started as a loud hiss in the early afternoon of Oct. 21, just outside Cliff's Variety at Castro and 18th. Cliff's manager Terry Asten first learned of the leak when she noticed construction workers sprinting away from the front of her store yelling "Run!"

Here she is describing what she believes is PG&E's mishandling of the mishap.
