Man Shot Dead In Richmond District

The San Francisco Medical Examiner's Office has not yet identified a man shot to death Wednesday night in the Richmond District.

Police responded to multiple reports of gunshots emanating from the 400 block of 23rd Avenue at approximately 9 p.m. The man was discovered dead within a room in an apartment building.

No arrests have yet been made.

This is the city's 45th homicide of the year and first since Medina Abdulkader was shot to death in Japantown on Thanksgiving Day.
