It' Ain't a Bar Fight Till Someone Breaks Out the Crowbar

A crowbar's proper use, illustrated
If you're boozing it up at a bar and someone whips out a screwdriver -- that's probably no big thing. But when the crowbar comes out, it's time to run.

That was the case earlier this week at a tavern that shall remain unnamed in the vicinity of San Jose and 29th. A tippler was enjoying some libations when a fistfight broke out between the victim-to-be and another patron.

The combatants were separated by security. But the aggrieved party soon returned with a crowbar and, per the subsequent police writeup, "began a second attack on the victim."

The victim's injuries were described as "non-life threatening."

Doesn't mean it didn't hurt.
