World Series: Fans' Celebrations Didn't Tie Up Cops, Hospital
| Cops and hospital workers haven't seen many 'torture victims' |
They may have fired off guns or popped off firecrackers. Drunken revelry may have ended with a tumble down the steps. A diplomatic beer with a Phillies fan may have ended up down his shirt. And yet, none of the above circumstances occurred in large enough numbers for anyone to notice.

But San Francisco Police Department spokesman Officer Albie Esparza is loath to pin this jump on inebriated Giants fans making easy pickings for hardened criminals -- or giving armed robbery a shot in a fit of postseason panache. The guy who stole the other guy's bag of recyclables? We're not sure if he's a Giants fan.

Er ... Go Giants!
